José Ignacio López Ramírez Gastón, Ph.D. is a Peruvian philosopher and researcher specializing in critical studies of art and sound. He holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Computer Music from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree from the School of Comparative Studies at The Ohio State University. He has promoted interdisciplinary approaches that integrate electronic and experimental sound within academic and artistic contexts. His work advocates for open science principles, emphasizing transparency, inclusivity, and the democratization of knowledge across the arts and sciences—bridging technology with cultural and critically engaged artistic expression. https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2444-5437

Julio Santillán Aldana, Ph.D. is a Peruvian information scientist and researcher specializing in open science, digital preservation, and scientific communication. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Information Science and is currently pursuing postdoctoral studies in Brazil. Throughout his career, Julio has occupied leadership roles in academia and publishing, serving as Director of Research at the Universidad Tecnológica del Perú and as Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Biblios. He is also the founder of ComCiencia Peru, a consultancy dedicated to science communication and innovation.
