Anita Eerland, Behavioural Science Institute (BSI)
I work as an assistant professor of Communication Science – and Open Science Officer – within the Behavioural Science Institute (BSI). I joined the Radboud University and OSCN in 2021 after working at Utrecht University and founding the first Dutch Open Science Community there together with Loek Brinkman in 2018. I am a board member of the network of Open Science Communities the Netherlands (OSC-NL) and was the chair of the International Network of Open Science and Scholarship Communities (INOSC) for two years. Loek and I also developed the Open Science Community Incubator Program, a free 14-weeks online program to help people around the world to set up, run, and maintain their own local OSC. I love to share my experiences with Open Science and running a community to help and inspire others. I also have a podcast (in Dutch) on psychology (Drang naar Samenhang) together with Rolf Zwaan, and in my free time I like to cook, bake, hike, read, and solve puzzles (from old school jigsaws to escape rooms).
Jennifer Sander, Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics (MPI)
Hi, I am Jenni! I am a PhD candidate at the Language Development Department at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen. My PhD project investigates the social origin of sign language acquisition in the context of visual attention. Working on a small population, my research relies on and profits from Open Science practices and I aim to further promote and support Open Science practices in my scientific community. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, cooking, and photography.
Hannah Peetz, Behavioural Science Institute (BSI)
My name is Hannah and I am a PhD candidate at the Behavioural Science Institute at the Radboud University Nijmegen. My PhD project combines social and developmental psychology and focuses on the implicit and explicit attitudes of children towards their bullied classmates. As someone interested in social psychology, a field that has suffered greatly from prominent fraud cases, I have witnessed several discussions about Open Science as a means to improve the field. Being inspired by these discussions, I now aim to further spread OS within and outside of my institute. In my free time, I enjoy reading, annoying my cat and having good scientific discussions over a beer or two.
Maximiliano Cenci, Radboudumc University Medical Center
My name is Max and I am an assistant professor at the Department of Dentistry at the Radboudumc University Medical Center, in Nijmegen. I am a clinical researcher, and my research focus is on decision-making in dentistry, and on the promotion of research integrity on the field. I am an enthusiast of Open Science practices and I aim to foster transparency and better research practices through OS principles. In my free time I like cooking, biking with my kids, and having a beer with my friends.
